    Hello everyone.

Thank you for adding me to the forum. I am 60 years young, have a wife who I adore, 3 children who have all left home now, and 3 grandchildren.

I am fairly new to FSX. I use the Steam Edition and the reason for joining here is hopefully to learn how to build/make the rotary controls on the radio stack.

Once again, thanks for letting me join you folks.

    Hi Welcome To MyCockpit!

Making rotary controls are quite simple. Its pretty much a single or dual encoder. An option is to use an input card such as the Leo Bodnar input card, you can use this is conjuction with the Leo Bodnar Encoder Utility and setup your inputs for use with encoders. There are many many other options available. This in my experience, is the easiest yet!

Good luck and welcome to MC!

    Hi John,
Welcome to the forum, where in the UK are you?

As Alex has said, there are many ways to get your rotary controls working.
It would help to know how much electronic/software knowledge you have to give options that best suit you.
Which ever way you go there are many here willing to help out.

    Hello, welcome to the forum!
You should perhaps look into the Leo Bodnar board to begin with, it lets you hook up buttons, switches and rotaries to a USB connection.
