    LCD display For COM1

    Hello dears,

last two days I have trouble with lcd display. In Jims page I almost finished my project but all codes which shared on internet are generally with rotary and push buttons and they are very complicate. I try to read COM1 values from serial and print it to LCD display is there any example which is very simple for COM1 LCD display codes.

    regards

    Hi Omar

You can start with the demo http://www.jimspage.co.nz/Multi_Radio.htm and strip away unwanted controller codes, or try this zip taken from Jim's Radio Project which is the essence of everything that I have done and build your sketch from the ground up.

    Dear Hugh,

this is exactly what I wanted, in first try it works. Yesterday I tried too much from
http://www.jimspage.co.nz/Multi_Radio.htm but I think I delete more lines which I need. With your help I finished all codes now it is time to start design ( 737 Mcp ) my panel and some research DXF editing for laser cutting etc. anyway thnks your help .

    regards
    Omar

    That's great Omar

Think about how much work was required to take the seven switch inputs on one side and the twelve usb serial downloads on the other and then select and match them using one rotary switch.

    thanks Jim
