    Re: A320 FMGS B45

    Hi Stephen,

this happened to me as well with the earlier version. Since I push Speed on managed only after crossing FAF this item hasn't happened again. It was a workaround but now I get used to do my approaches like that. It's not state of art but it works. May be I should try again with managed mode before intercepting to see if this/your problem still exists. But at the moment I really like to fly the approaches with Speed selected.
    Regards, René

Thanks - I will try that workaround... Very odd behaviour which I didnt experience before... But good if the workaround works... Come to think of it at one occation I was flying 160 kts to 4 DME and it was only the managed last part after 4 DME where the problem arose. And yes - all approach data had been filled out

In regards to getting vPilot to work again I was asked how this was achieved.

I have programmed two events linked to two joystick buttons:
    XPDR ON - push event
    XPDR STBY - push event

They did the job of getting vPilot to work again.

    Re: A320 FMGS B45

    Hi all

still looking for the right settings for disconnect AP from a joystick button and on the thrust lever buttons (skalarki), for the joystick button I need to set up in fmgsconfig.exe but can^t find the function, does someone know which function to use? Same for the lever buttons, in IO profiler I do not find the function, too.

Thank you for a short hint, maybe I am blind .

    Best regards
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

the action for the joystick buttons is called CPT APTO programmed as 'Push event'.

Concerning the lever buttons I can't help you because I don't use Skalarki's TQ.

    René

For the Skalarki TQ you have to assign the A/THR disconnect push button in the Scalarki Profiler.

Yes, I used to be able to trim the plane before take-off. That does not work anymore.

I stumbled upon another problem during the past few ILS approaches.
Everything works fine until decelleration to Approach speed on the glideslope.
at this point the A_THR seems to be inactive although being ON.
the thrust remains at IDLE even when decellerating below the red markers on the tape. Speed is in managed mode.
i have to switch off the A_THR and adjust thrust manually.

    any idea?
Am I the only one with the above problem? Yesterday I tried two approaches with Selected speed and experienced the same issue having to disconnect A_THR and using manual throttle the last miles.
This was both on an ILS being fully established and a visual approach manually flown.

    Any ideas??

    Thanks in advance
