    Indeed sometimes when Atc vectors you in the approach, happens that GS capture occurs before the LOC capture, and the plane can handle the approach in Cat 2 dual and remains normal.

    In fact it Atc leaves you high in the glide slope ypu can try a glide slope from above technique and plane will land stabilized as well.

    Hallo everybody, since yesterday I got an issue with jeehell.
    I make the last auto update and integrate my homebuilde fcu in the fsmg server config. All pushbuttons works fine. But on the start to test fcu, I got this following issue:
    engine works fine and all is ready for take off, but when I push the thrust lever to TOGA the cursor on n1 works but no more happens. reverse works also.

    Yes, you need to make sure the apfbw (fly by wire) system is running. Your throttles will work (as shown on the indicator), but you will not get any engine thrust

    Hi JL --possible bugs?

    5 nm before the TOD when I press the altitude manage mode to descend to the next way point altitude. I reach the altitude before the next way point altitude intersection.

    Also -- prior to takeoff, if ignition switch is still in IGN START position -- should there be an IGNITION error message on the EWD?

    @Rigo, sorry I do not speak German... Did you check the "options" menu of the OVHD? It allows to show.hide the ENG Start and A/BRL panels.


    @Omniatlas: the VNAV has never been perfect, even in the real acft. Even with a perfect VNAV, outside conditions can make it impossible for the acft to fly the calculated profile. As for hte ignition question, no there is no error message associated to that (as the FCOM indicates).
