    My GA Cockpit Build Thread

Hey guys, I am starting my build on a generic GA type sim. I thought I would post the progress pics here. Here is the design that I came up with and I'm planning to build using 80/20 structural aluminum for the panel and 1" aluminum tubing for the shell.

I have the PFC Console and Radio Stack that the panel will be built around.

Here are some photos of the Main Panel getting waterjet cut out of steel. Also I received the 80/20 structural aluminum that I will be building the panel stand out of.

Louie at diyrealism is cutting these for me as well as providing the bezels and encoders for the panel.

Here is a pic of my current setup:

Here are the final panels after being cut by Louie. I made the instrument cutouts on there own panel so that I can screw a different instrument arrangement on top if I want if I want down the road.
