Re: My PDE - Autopilot controls using Rotary Encoders and TM1640 displays

I just loaded your code and clicked Verify.

As is, I get the exact same "error: 'Encoder' does not name a type".

When I remove the extra spaces from the #include line, that error goes away.

The correct link is in the source code you posted!

I'll try to post another message with that link anyway! If you see only this message, it's safe to assume the other message hit the spam filter and is awaiting moderator approval.

    The Encoder library is at:

    http://www.pjrc.com/teensy/td_libs_Encoder.html

However, you must not put extra spaces inside the angle brackets on the #include line. If you do, as was done in the code you posted, it won't matter if you've properly installed the library. Spaces in filenames matter on Windows.

You'll need to skip using Link2FS program and write your own with the FSUIPC SDK or the NGX SDK, and modify the arduino code appropriately to communicate with your own program.

Look under the fs2004 section for the SDK. It has plenty of examples. I have yet to try it myself but looks like a far easier method than the simconnect sdk which is no longer being updated.
I am going to go with Pro Sim 737 rather than **** around with PMDG and their crazy EULA
