What version were you were you using before 4.3.64?
Never heard of that happening. The uninstall does not delete. Install will prompt if overwriting.
I take it you were able to install 4.3.64 without those overwrite prompts?

    Re: Lost variables

    Johnny,

Uninstall does not remove fsvariable files. These can only be deleted by the user.

Therefore, does not matter whether previous version is uninstalled.
    Fsvariable files are preserved.
Users customize these files - would not want these to be inadvertantly deleted.
Hence, I always advise backing up these files before an upgrade.

Install will overwrite files if required, except for some user ini files such as the fsvariable, fs2phidget.ini and card files.

    Regards,
    Alan

    Re: Lost variables

I uninstalled my version and installed the version I sent you.
The install created an FsVariable folder in the Fs2Phidget folder.
    The FsVariable folder contains 4 FsVariable files: B737NG_pmMCP.ini, FlapGauge.ini, LogicVariableTutorial.ini and MarkerBeacons.ini.
The Fs2Phidget folder has the latest FsVariable file i.e. FSVariables4364.ini
Copy that into your FsVariable folder if you want to use that.
