    Re: glass radio panel ?

i am going to download the fspanel studio demo and see how it goes. I think favour it because you get to use default gauges for that aircraft unlike other software's. As for server use i plan to use fspanel studio + control on one pc and outside visuals on the other to minimise frame rate loss.

You might contact Steve at Desktop Aviator. He has 5 position rotary switches in his model 1010 avionics panel. he may be willing to sell you a switch, or if nothing else, the whole unit is 1/2 the price of the switch from simkits.

It is also very easily hackable to put in your own panel. Essentially it is an interface card with wired switches built into a plastic box. All of the parts can be used in your own panel, except maybe the box. This is how I built my panel, not pretty to look at, but allows me to have accurate engine start and electrical procedures.

Realism is not perhaps as great as simkits. It does not have a spring return from Start to Both on the starter switch and the throw from off to start is 180 degrees which is more than real life. The key comes out though, which it does not appear to do on simkits.
