It is so detailed, I felt sure that I saw the England Cricket team beating the Aussies to retain the Ashes at the Melbourne Cricket Ground

    Hi Geremy

I'm still using FS9 on an ageing P4. If I were to build a new FS PC tomorrow, it'd almost certainly be an i7 930 and the new Nvidia GTX570. I may push the boat out and get the i7 960 and the GTX580 for an extra £350 or so.

But as I'm building rather than flying at the moment, I'm holding off the new PC.

No it does not (imho). FSX needs ridiculous hardware which I'm not going to buy at the moment. I've loads of beautiful FS9 scenery. Sure there is a lot of eye candy but at what price? My rig is performing nicely at the moment and I can hold on for a couple of years until Aerosoft comes with a new FS. Then it's time to review.
