Re: Makes me what to really consider the Spitfire sim
Hi there, have a look at Darryl Hackett's Spitfire sim on our web pages. I have made many components for Darryl's Spitfire and I have been lucky enough to fly this wonderful creation, it is absolutely outstanding!!!

Re: Makes me what to really consider the Spitfire sim
Many thanks .... I'd not come across this thread here yet ....
In reality, I plan to start crawling first, walking later. I'm building a diy CNC machine at the moment [for another project] but I see the potential already for the sim[s].
To that end, a Cessna 172P SkyHawk is my first chosen simpit .... I have a place in my heart for this little workhorse! I'm planning for the future too so much thought and effort is going into projectors, screens and so on too to facilitate my future ambitions.
When I saw this BBC piece about the Spitfire, it reminded me of seeing and hearing the plane over my old place of work in Bristol, UK. It was a regular in the sky around the city and work stopped most every time to have a look see.
Darryl's Spitfire is something to behold ....
I'm a 'build it myself' kinda fella but rely heavily on the experiences of others.
Congrats to you all for the encouragment you guys provide us newbies!
