How to connect 3 Monitors
Hello,
Building my first cockpit, and its an airbus as it should be easier/cheaper. I have a display already set up as the FMC from vrinsight (CDU2) and I am about to get 2 new 17" monitors for the PD/ND and the engine displays. The problem i have is that how do i connect the 3 monitors into 1 output (VGA) from my computor.
I was thinking if i connect 2 Y connecters together.
Regards,
Conor

Re: How to connect 3 Monitors
Easiest way is to add an additional video card with two outputs. A "Y" cable will send the same signal to another monitor. Each monitor needs it's own video output from the computer.

Re: How to connect 3 Monitors
I use 1 computer and 2 video cards with a total of 4 video outputs. 1 output goes to a 3htgo which drives 3 projectors for the forward outside view. another output is on a splitter ("Y") cable going to the pilot side and copilot side.showing the same thing. The 3rd output goes to a center monitor and the fourth goes to a touch screen monitor. This is what it looks like up and running with the default Mooney in FSX. Looks about the same with FS9.
