Take a look at this for this price...needs some TLC! And shipping must cost a fortune

The airlines must have had a FIT when forced to buy this type door...it weighs about 80 pounds!!
Can you imagine the cost of added fuel to haul these things around?
In 1975+/-, when fuel savings were a hot item for airlines,
the VP of flying for UAL actually asked pilots to "urinate" prior to boarding the aircraft.
They did the math and figured that if each pilot shed 6 oz. before boarding,
UAL could save like 8 million dollars a year in fuel burn, by not having to carry that weight.
    NO JOKE...my humor isn't that lame...is it?
I'll bet EIGHTY POUNDS per plane would make him lose his hair.
Includes key pad and some mounting crap.
    $750

Shipping wasn't bad. It was $175 for me. I happened to pick this up right after it was listed as I am doing a MD-80 cockpit, and this was from a Delta MD-87 or MD-88.

Above is another vendor I've dealt with that has a former Aeromexico cockpit door, but didn't have the mounting hardware. if desired, I can help with providing detailed shots of my own door and see if that would be of any assistance to you. They have shipping listed at $90.
