    Project Magenta Start valve open

    Hi,

I have a question concerning the pm offset 0x508:

    (Engine N/Engine N + 1)
Bit 0/8 - Start Valve Open
Bit 1/9 - Oil Filter Bypass
Bit 2/10 - Low Oil Pressure (set by Glass Cockpit if minimum Oil Pressure Value is defined in the Aircraft.TXT file)

Who or which FS offsets are controlling this, or what is the logic behind this ?
Especially the Start Valve Open Bits ?

    Thanks a lot

    Torsten

    Hello!

Where did you get it? I can't find it in sysvars.txt

    Best regards,
    Konstantin Klubnichkin

    Re: Start valve open

    Hi Konstantin,

thanks for your reply. This is an "internal" offset of PM:

    http://www.projectmagenta.com/pmoffsets.html

This seems to control the "lights" in the PM EICAS Display.

    Thanks

    Torsten

    Re: Start valve open

    Torsten,

it seems strange for me , I thought that all variables, including the "software only" (i.e. for EICAS screen or PFD/ND controlling bits) are managed by the logics file (bmsys737.lgc). Looks like I've been mistaking...

Please keep the thread updated if you'll find where the variables are managed.
