    727 parts are available at a price comparable or lower than 737 / a320 replica parts and there is hand flying.

    i guess my an148 will be considered "others" also it mught be the only antonov in the whole community

    I am in the same philosophy as the 727 guys. Also nice that I don't have to compete with others for parts, it seams I am all alone.

    As much as biz jets are classed as GA, I like to think that jets have their own category just outside GA and just before commercial jets.

    For me GA are small single engine or twin engine touring aircraft powered by props instead of jet blades...

    That's just my opinion......

    Saying that Cessna do make some pretty damn good jets now!

    Same here with the MD-82. I'd looked at the 727 initially (I'm hooked on JT-8Ds apparently!!), but the flight deck was so massive that I didn't have a room big enough for the full thing. hehe.

    My decision was made by the fact that the level d 767 has a good SDK coming with it which makes it a lot easier to built a home made cockpit.

    And the cheap modules which are being made by opencockpits.
