    Trim Indicator

    Hello,
Any suggestions on how to go about making a working elevator trim indicator? Cessna 172 style or anything similar.
    Thanks!

    Hello,
Thanks for the links. That's a really nice tutorial to make the wheel, which I will probably be following but I'm wondering about the 'indicator' I think it's called. (Up/take-off/down)
    Thanks

    Re: Trim Indicator

    Hi there,
About your trim indicator. I had the same question, how to render the trim position ?
My son can up with an electronic solution which can be used with any trim device.
It is made of 3mm red leds and one green or yellow for the center position.I use it for the elevator trim (10 turns ) and one for the roll axis trim ( normal pot )more info and pictures will be shortly available on my web site.

    Re: Trim Indicator

    Hi,
Yes off course,it was in my plans to sell them as I think there will be great demand for such a device. It's working under USB and you have to calibrate it just once with your potentiometer connected to it,reset the jumper and it stays in the memory chip.
documentation will be joined. All you need to buy are the 3mm leds with their appropriate support and some cable connection for the leds.
If you give me your Email on my web site I'll send you some pictures of it.
