    Pots on a BU0836X

    Hi.
I have been using my BU0836X just for rotaries and buttons.
I now need to use the axis for my throttle quad.
I'm sure that I remember reading somewhere that I can use 10K or 100K pots.
    Is this the case?
If this is the case, if i'm not using the whole travel of the pot, would i be better using the 100K?
My thinking behind this is that the board may see more change over the short distance. This may just be gibberish though as I don't know too much about these things.

Any help would be greatly received.

    Thanks
    Paul

I am pretty sure I saw a post from Leo that said 10k or 100k either are fine. I use 10k myself.

    Re: Pots on a BU0836X

Basically you would get smoother range of operation with a 100K pot, then you would a 10K.

Not that anyone would notice, but the board assigns a value from say 1 to 65535 incrementally across the 10K

or 1 to 65535 across the 100K range.

    If that helps..
