    767 Cockpit Section Cut

Got this today on the Desert Air Spares mailing list:

    Subject: Cockpit for Sale!
From: Desert Air Spares International [simguys@desert-air.com]
    Sent: Tuesday, July 07, 2009 2:20:37 PM
    To:

    Aircraft Type: 767-300ER
    Asking Price: $60000

Contact For pictures and details please respond to this email.

    ONLY: Serious inquires !!

    NOTICE:
Asking price does include cutting fees.

Seems outside the price range of most cockpit builders, but I'd thought I'd pass it along none the less. Not like 767 custom cut cockpit options come along all the time. Enjoy!

Airbus Re: 767 Cockpit Section Cut

Saw a 757 for $10,000 on Ebay last week... What I am trying to say The cockpit section is completelly useless... For scrap Companies cause the gold is on the Engines, Avionics, Wings and stuff the Cockpit is really junk as long as people keep paying those prices for Junk they will keep selling them this way... I am not against a busines just it is WAY too much... IMO

    Re: 767 Cockpit Section Cut

I am curious if it is he shell..or if it has everythig in it. IF it is 100% complete, then it is not so bad of a price.

I just got an email from them saying they have an A320 pit for $75000
I'm not replicating anything, because I like to fly everything.

According to the photo, it has lots in it - I don't think it's too bad a deal.
