    cabin altitude gauge

    Hi,

Has anyone a " cabin altitude gauge " in his cockpit ?
I have one connected on a multiboard of simkits, but doens't work in flight.
Calibration works. I tried with factor 10 so as stipulated also 100 and 1,000.
    FSX & SP1 no PM

    Thanks and fly safe

Perhaps too little to go on here, but ultimately these conditions must be true:
    1. The aircraft model or instrumentation logic you're using must simulate cabin altitude.
    2. The aircraft model or instrumentation logic must have a documented interface that Simkits can use to connect itself and get the data needed to drive the instrument.

If you're able to verify that both cases are true, it should work.
Don't know if FSX default aircrafts supports "cabin altitude", but I doubt it.

PMSystems would help, it simulates Cabin Alt and provides a FSUIPC offset that the gauge can use to get the data needed.

    Tell me more?

    Morten

    cabin altitude

    Hi Morten,

    Thanks for your reply.
It is supposed to be used with the Cessna Conquest of Flight1.
Normally at 15,000 an annunciator will light, when above that level.
Guess it must get that information somewhere in the soft.

    Thanks
