getting pmdg 737ng to work with pm

hi guys, can anyone talk me through the method to get pmdg 737ng to work with pm software ,mcp,pm systems,?
at present ive got some limited use with removing the panels file from the aircraft i want to use,but when i attempt to start the engines via pm systems they start but then cut off and the start valve stays open?!!!!
hope its possible to get this sorted as the default 737 increases speed much to fast, also can anyone explain the aircraft config files on pm site,(steve reyling ect)
sorry to be a thicky again,
    kind regards
    steve

    PMDG & PM

    Hi Steve,
I'm a big fan of PMDG and my sim works well without PM Systems. If you are using PM I am wondering why you want to stick with PMDG as your base aircraft. I really have little knowledge of how PM interacts with FS exactly, but if your system works and displays all the MFDs with default planes, then try using the Kittyhawk 737. The airfiles are great and it's a really good ride!

I am also using the PMDG model, yet the panel does not interface. OK, now that should not be a problem should it? Well it is. I have the PS Panels NG (payware), and some switches do not interact. OK, so use the 737-400 default, works fine, but not NG. Then I try to figure out what the mods are on PM's site, and get confused as why to use them, let alone which ones to use. That's my dillema.

There are 2 ways on PM's site to do this. Here is the way I do it. If you do not have the pmdg loaded, load it. Then go to PM's site and download this file: http://www.projectmagenta.com/downlo...PMDG737700.zip . Now unzip this and run the app. Do what it says in the PDF file which is no more then cut and paste, fire up FS And in your AC selection you should have a PM PMDG! Need more help drop me a line.

    Hi,

I used to fly with the PMDG but changed to the Kittyhawk flight model as interface is much easier an in combination with a new sound set this is a very good setup.

    Hi Steve,

Sure, this is the set I use :

    737_cfm56__the_real_deal_version_2.zip (download at avsim)

    the direct link is :

    http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=77985

I have compared this set with the sounds used in a level-D and it is very close.

    Greetings,

    Marnix
