I need your help about buying a MCP

    Hello,

I need your help to make a disision of buying a MCP module.
I can get a new MCP from opencockpits for €356 or a MCP from cpflight for €719 and a secondhand MCP R232 with efis and a mcpex for €600.

I don't know it anymore but the openflight one gets my first choice.

    thanks

Does 'openflight' mean 'CPFlight' or 'Open Cockpits' ?

Personally, I'd go with USB. RS232 ports are getting to be rare.

My vote is with the CPFlight USB MCP, I have this with two EFIS units and I think it is fantastic. It is built with the backlight face panel from Engravity and the look of it in my darkened cockpit is stunning. It is worth every cent of the extra expense and I have found the support from CPFlight & Engravity to be very good. Engravity sell the CPFlight units and they are your fellow countrymen!!!
