    Mate, that looks awesome....

If it's not a rude question, "how much was shipping to Aussie?"
Just trying to get a guage on costs for something like that.

    cheers

    Paul,
Nah mate not rude at all. Dont quote me but I think it was roughly around the $900USD but dont quote me on that. Art from NFS can probably dig up the freight charges. But there are other charges when it arrived here most of them GST and if you have a company you can claim it. The Oz charges including customs clearance and stuff was $980 aud (approx) but around $500 is GST and you can claim it back. You have to describe it as a flight training device so it is free of duty (which is what it is anyway technically).
I can dig up the invoices for the freight, I paid these like some months ago. But just be aware this is ocean freight

What I got from NFS is 737ng yokes and columns, rudders, Sheepskin cover for my seats, headrest with embroidery, backseat moulding, tiller assembly. All these items in 2 crates.

I still have a TQ and screens coming. If this is the standard I can just imagine what the other 2 is going to be like.

I can dig up the invoices

If you don't mind me asking, what does he charge for the tiller assembly? There are no prices on his site and I hate to ask when I'm not ready to buy at this time.

I do wish he would post prices.

Not that I dont want to give prices, I dont have it in front of me. It is actually in my office where I keep all the paperwork. I can dig it up. I just dont want to give the wrong prices. However when I asked for price list they send it in excel format. Trust me I wasnt ready to buy then too.

Must be your lucky day. I found an attachement I havent deleted , it had the quote for the tiller assembly . It was $635 + INTERFACING $150. This thing is really heavy. The loaded springs just add the realism. I can take detail pictures for you if you want.

See? That's the problem with Christmas. There you are, getting fab Xmas prezzies early, and then - guess what happens at Xmas?

Well, of course you get more, innit? Or maybe your better half remembers you already GOT Xmas for this year, so then you're stuffed, right?

August is a bit early, or a bit late - if you play the "OK, hun, let me give you an August Xmas prezzie too" card, you'll be out a few bucks, but you can expect a replenishment on 25/12. But if Her Indoors jalouses your plot, She might think either that: a) it's so far from Xmas as not to make a difference, in which case you're golden; or b) there goes the holiday budget before we've even had a holiday, in which case, you'll have had your Xmas, right? It's a tough call.

So I say, ban Xmas. Solves all these problems Or you could sack the wife
