Hi Phil, it's in the downloads section.
You will find all the 737 dimensions you need there.

Hi Phil,
I have been on a Boeing and measured the overhang if that's what you're after - Face of MIP to face of MCP = 310mm.

I know what he is asking, He want's to know the Dimensions of the Black Glareshield (Top part) from the V Point of where the two forward windshields meet to the End of it where it overhangs the MCP/EFIS
Imagine looking top down at this item.

I would appreciate if someone has this measurement as well, from where it meets the window, out how far?

From the windscreen side of the glareshield to the front of the glareshield is 53cm, but it does not come to a 'V' point.

Can you draw a picture of the shape with the measurement? If it doesn't come to a "V" then what stops things from falling down behind it?

I noticed from a partner site to this site the glareshield for sale http://www.737ngsim.com/index.php/73...gs_stands.html
The site describe the dimensions and no it doesn't go to a V, If I am not mistaken, a piece of steel goes from the V in the windows about an inch or 2 forward and then the glareshield cover is bolted to this piece of steel. I will try to get a pic of what I mean.
Depending on who is ordering the 737, the Glareshield is split in three pieces as they sell it on there site. Other 737 pics I see show it as one solid piece, others show it as a solid piece with the V in it. Just take the measurements of all three down and if you wish to make a one piece glareshield, add the witdth of all three up. They measure Width x Height x Depth.Last edited by aircanbp; 10-14-2008 at 04:44 PM. Reason: Update Information
