A few 727 photos from this evening

Still no engine panel monitor. After six months I finally received an e-mail from Trident in the U.K. I told them I needed a quote on one of their (Toshiba, I believe) 12.1 wide-screen monitors. the e-mail was very polite in asking me how many did I need. Well, I pretty much new I'd never hear from them again after saying "one". I told them it was for an experimental aircraft for the avionics display. I guess they don't have time to sell just ONE.

Some of these suppliers really irk me.

Anyway, just some recent pics of the late, great Boeing 727.

Yep, I actually got some flying in tonight. Abut four hours worth.

Thanks Damien. Funny you should mention that.

After getting ready for departure at Innsbruck it really started to look like I was inside of an airplane. I never really paid much attention to it for the past couple of days since I started experimenting with this #4 EB window and doing the work.

After sitting in the Captain's seat with the yoke in front of me and operating the aircraft, it really started to feel like something.

After I figure out where everything is supposed to go and what angles I need I'm going to rebuild it all (the window related stuff). This is sort of a working mock-up right now.

looking terrific...my first sim was a generic twin jet with steam gauges, had a lot of fun navigating the darn thing vor to vor and shooting ILS (or NDB) approaches in the soup.
73NG now, another kind of fun as long as the MCP and FMC are used for partial help or advice only.

My two cents...your setting could be a real killer (as far as Immersion is c.) by adding something like that in front of it. Would make a Mega difference and best investment.

    Fantastic pics Mike,

I love your dedication to realism in keeping the old girl alive. Boeing should pay you a commission

Thanks Ken. Everytime I get discouraged or get stuck on something I look at some of my past photos and other's photos and that keeps me going.

A big thanks to Pete with his new FSUIPC release. This wouldn't be half the airplane it is without that new version.

I'd really, really love to see a video of this in action Mike Your previous pictorial flights have been so entertaining the moving pictures version would be a hit.

I don't have a video camera. Everytime I think of buying one, I think "wow, that's a lot of money I could spend on the sim"
