    For Matt and Tim

    Hey Chaps,

Well I did say that I would have a go at making a full color A340 panel set for you and tonight I decided to bite the bullet and give it a go.

Pictures below, please dont laugh because its a long long way from being right, but decided to give it a shot anyway, it has thrown up many unforseen issues and I do have the centre tank switches in the wrong position. Keep in mind this is my first attempt at a multicolored panel

The green looks ace when it comes out the gun but once etched it turns dull, i need to tune it a little more, failing that i will go for a more lime green color to try and get it brighter and if that dont work i will put a clear coat between the green and grey to stop the two colours leaching together.

Looking at the pictures ive taken i have to admit it looks better in the flesh, look ace once illuminated, i am happy with the blue and yellow. However i will have to mod the artwork differently from the real part to give me more room between white fonts and colored lines, i have a steady hand with the airbrush but im not that good

    Enjoy the pics

*Jaw Drops to floor * (THUD)

I have no idea what those ol' boys did to deserve this treatment Phil, but I think you just made me mess myself.

Those have to be the most fantastic panels I have ever seen.

Great stuff.. Keep teasing them too, I like to watch grown men cry LOL.

    Jesus man, those are beautiful!!!!!!!

Phil those are truly some of the best looking panels I have ever seen. No one out there can even come close to your panels.

    You inspire me.

You owe me a Paulaner and a glass Phil. I just dropped mine all over the cockpit floor.

Good Lord man, do you work for a Airbus contractor? Those look better than the real panels I have in my overhead!

I was so moved it bought a tear to my eye. Actually that was a careless insect but it flew into my eye because it was in awe of those panels. To come up with some original words to describe this work, would require inventing a new language. But "wow" will have to do

    Hey Phil,
Do you think this would look ok surrounded by your panels?

    It's nearly finished!
