    787 MIP Design Begins

Well today I started work on the 787 MIP. Not too bad at the moment, once I get a real CAD designer or I get google sketchup pro, I will put all the fine detail into a new, more specific design and I will simulate all the bells and whistles being put into place.

At the moment with Version 1.1 I guess, the grey side is the front side and the whole you see are for screws. I have had no measurements to work with, only pictures so the measurements may be out a bit but shouldn't be by much.

The back (white) is where you can see all the connections and looks a bit like lego. I'm open to suggestions for better ways to connect the different sections marked out but at the moment I am happy with this. Later I will add the real large pieces like the MCP frame and MIP support, but that will probably be when I use the real CAD drawer.

Here you go, 787 MIP Version 1.1

    Many Thanks,
    Lewis Simmons

    Looks Great Lewis,
It's always good to plan ahead rather than just steaming in to it and my admiration goes to you for being the first to attempt the 787.
    good luck!
