    B737NG Flaps Lever

    Hi All,

Im at the stage of building my flaps lever for my TQ.

I havent really found anything here on what builders used and how they constructed there own flaps levers. I have based my TQ similar to J Cordon's TQ with a few customised changes of my own.

So i pose the question to all.

What did you use to make yours, a little about the mechanics and construction methods used ?

Was it part of an old draw slider or did you build yours from scratch with all the goodies from the local hardware store.

Your best bet is to give Gwyn a call. I'm sure he'd be only too pleased to help.

I carved mine from oak using a Dremel tool. Machine sanded and then hand sanded, sealed, primed and painted with automotive laquer.

Thats awsome Gwyn, i will get intouch with you next week to collect.

Its all good with the Flaps lever, i pretty much new what i was going to do, i was just curious what others had done.

After a couple of hours in the shed- springs, cogs, screws and aluminium going everywhere, i finally came up with something that works well, now i just need the top part to make it look realistic !!
