FSX SP2 performance and compatability
I'm eager to upgrade to the second service pack for Flight Simulator X. However, I'm using FS2Phidget and GoFlight modules with their accompanying driver software, as well as FSUIPC and I'm not sure if they are going to be compatible with SP2. Any advice appreciated.
Does SP2 give performance gains like SP1 was meant to? I didn't notice any with SP1. However I don't want to upgrade to SP2 and find it runs like a dog, when it's running fine right now. I have a DirectX10 video card which I'm busting to try out, particularly as I got fooled by Microsoft's misleading information about FSX and needing Vista to run etc.

Wow, someone from BC!
I am running FSX Acceleration (SP2) with Vista 32bit using a dx10 video card, GoFlight and FSUIPC - I have no problems. In fact, since upgrading the performance is better.

Thanks. I upgraded and had no surprises. Lost the sea for a time because I also needed to upgrade my add-on scenery. But it has since returned
