    Yoke measurements

Does anyone have actual measurements of where yoke is located in the 737 cockpit?

    - distance from mip to yoke column at floor level?
    - Angle of yoke column in center position
    - Angle or travelling distance when column is moved to max forward
    and aft position?

Maybe someone have a drawing with measurements? My e-mail is ivar.hestnes at neasonline.no.

    Help is very much appreciated

    Hi Ivar,

Why not ask Dieter Jakob? He sent me some great pics with a tape measure showing all the key diemnsions of the ERJ. Maybe he has the same for the 737.

    Thanks for helping

The measurements I needed was located on Markuspilot`s page.

One more thing. How much force is needed to move the yoke forward and aft?

Have experimented a little bit with 25kg gas cylinders.

Floor linkage to yoke 80 cm, floor linkage to gas cylinder mount 10cm. That would give a 8:1 gearing. It felt good, but have no idea if this is realistic

When I Googled for MarkusPilot 's site, I found this discussion. I hope you find what you're looking for soon, I'm sorry I can't be of much help.
Ladies and gentlemen, we've just found an exception to the rule "what goes up, must come down": the landing gear.
