    Wiring USBoutput card

    Hi,
I just want to make sure that I'm doing this the right way.
If connected ext 5V to J9. Jmp 2 closed jmp 1 open.
LED connection = between pos of J8 and one of the 64 of J2 ( the leds works ) but,
Question: do i still need to connect a ext power to J8 or not?
    Thanks and,
    regards,
    henri

    ThX david,
I have that info. But it says something about a common 5+ volt. And I used phidgets before were you have only a USB connection and the power supply ( my case 5+ V) for the leds.

That is nothing to do with how you apply power - the diagram is correct. Nico is just warning everyone that the Mastercards have a common - (ground) whereas the USB output card has a common + (positive) ie the leds need to be connected with their negative lead to the 64 individual screw connectors on the card (the opposite to the mastercard outputs!!!)

    Re: Wiring USBoutput card

    Hi David,
I know that, because i also use phidgets cards. I was just having doubts about where to apply power J9 or J9 and J8. I thought i needed to apply power to the card(J9) and separately apply power for the LEDs(J. Thats all
    Thnx and regards,
    henri
