    PMDG 747 Keyboard Commands

Well I got most of the essential 747 commands programmed with my PC keyboard. But I'm trying to set key commands for the cutoff switches but to no avail. I went into the key assignments in FS9 and under engine commands there's Starters on/off 1-4. I figured these would either be the start switches or the cutoff switches so I went ahead and assigned keys for them but there's no interaction with the 747.

Is this something where I would have to get an addon such as a CH multi engine throttle or am I going to need to buy and register FSUIPC in order to assign keys to the cutoff switches? For the time being I would just like to use the keyboard instead of spending money I really don't have at the moment.

Try "Mixture full lean" on all cut-off switches. If that works, you can also use "Mixture full rich" for introducing fuel to the engines at the correct N2.

You may end up having to purchase the FSUIPC module, but I think the above commands are included in FS.

    Hi,

Yeah I tried those and nothing works. I guess maybe I'll have to register FSUIPC but I'm gonna wait on that until I get a multi engine throttle quad. Thanks for the help though.
