Mycockpit.org Sim Pit Builder, With Frustration's

    Hello,

I Am Looking For Someone Who Does In Home Cockpit Set Up Installation / Tweeking. I Currently Have A System That I Have Set Up With The Following.
< 6 ' Screen With Dlp Proj. For Exterior View's.
    < 3- 20" Lcd Screen's Mounted In The Cockpit For Instrument View's.
< 6 Goflight Modules For Control's Mounted In Cockpit.
< Trip. Head To Go Box.
    < Thrustmaster Hotas
    < Saitek Pedal's
< Natural Point Vector Motion Camera For Exterior View's
< Buttkicker 1000 Watt Amp. To Drive L.f.e ( Low Freq. Emitter's) For Force Feed Back In The Pit.
< High End Pc From Alienware With Sli Tech. Dual Proc. 2 Gig Extra Low Latency Mem. Etc.
< 5.1 Logitec Surrond Sound System.
< Vox-atc Interactive Air Traffic Control

This Is Not A Small Project, Many Hour's , $$$$$$, Invested.

I Have An Entire Room In My Home Deicated To My Sim Project, I Wish To Use The Sim To Help Me Stay Current On "private Pilot" Aviation Procedure's - Instrument Flow Pattern's Etc.

    What's My Point?

I Know Enough About The Equipment Listed Above To Set It Up And Make It Work. However I Cannot Seem To Get All The Component's Dialed In Properly. Ie: Problem's With Sli Tech. And Setting's, Getting Fsx And Fs9 Screen's Set The Way I Want , Ie: Instr. View's Saved On The 3 Lcd Screen's When Closing A Flight. Basically, I Know Enough To Frustrate My Self Trying To Dial This In.
Soooo, Does Anyone Know Of Someone (company) That Will Go To Someone's Home To Do This Type Of Set Up Work?
They Must Be Very Adept In Fsx , Fs9 Tweeking, Multi Monitor Config, Etc. My Main Issue Is View's And Cockpit Instr. How To Config. Custom Panel's To Save And Load Up Properly On The 3 20" Lcd Screen's In The Cockpit.

I Live In Northern Ca. Approx. 2 Hour's South Of San Francisco.

I Was Very Pleased To Find Your Site!!!!!

    Kind Regards

    Dennis Orsag

While I don't know of anyone who can do this for you (being in the UK) I am sure some of the regulars will be able to offer you advice. Just thought I would pop up and welcome you to the site, nice to have another GA pilot. (Although sounds like your setup leaves mine standing.)

    Hey,

It sounds to me that you just have taken on way to much at one time.

The best thing for you to do is concentrate on one "Problem" at a time. this will eliminate the needless Heart attacks that occur when to many things go wrong at one time.

Maybe if you start with one issue, describe it to us, we can help you step by step.

Unless someone live in Northern California, I don't think your going to find any companies that will do this for you for anything less then an arm and a leg.

Give us a try, and let us know how we can help one little issue at a time.

    Best regards,

    Trev

    HELLO MATT,

MY CPU HAS SLI TECH. (DUAL GPU'S NVIDEA 7800GTX KO) I CURRENTLY CANNOT USE THIS SETTING AS IT WILL CAUSE THE 3 20" LCD MONITOR'S I USE FOR INSTRUMENT DISPLAY TO GO BLANK. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO USE SLI SETTING'S WITH MULTIPLE MONITOR'S?
I DO HAVE A MATROX TRIPLE HEAD TO GO BOX , HOWEVER IM NOT SURE I HAVE IT CONFIGURED PROPERLY?
I WOULD LIKE TO LOAD HIGH QUALITY GRAPIC PANEL'S FOR VARIOUS AIRCRAFT ON THE 3 20" LCD'S , WHILE VIEWING THE EXTERIOR VIEW'S ON MY 6X6' SCREEN VIA THE DLP PROJECTOR.
WHERE CAN I PURCHASE HIGH QUALITY CONFIGURABLE PANEL'S THAT WILL WORK WITH FS9 OR FSX. I HAVE TRIED PROGRAM'S LIKE PANEL BUILDER FOR FS9 , HOWEVER IT IS VERY COMPLICATED AND DIFFICULT TO PROGRAM.

    KIND REGARDS

FS9 & FSX are not SLI capable programs. Given that, you will not be able to use the combined SLI capability. Perhaps you could try removing the SLI connector and use them both independently. 1 For projector & 1 for TH2Go and instruments. You will have to experiment, as I do not have this capabilty to test. There are other builders that use a multiple of video cards in one machine and have done this, so its do-able.

Some builders use a program from Project Magenta & there are others. You may just try using your native panel instruments.
