    Airbus A320 Update Video

    Hi folks,

Just thought some would like to see the video I set up in YouTube showing the current status of my A320 cockpit. I spent very little time editing, so don't expect too much.

    Hope you like it!

Very nice. I like all of it except for the hotspot on the screen. Whats causing that?
    Beautiful backlighting by the way...

    Thanks.
The hot spot is an effect of the projector, only seen when filming...
I do however want to improve the reflection properties of the screen I am using, since I am not yet satsfied with the results.

    Very nice Luise.

Tell me one thing. How is FS Communicator (Fly By Wire)?
There are only two types of airplanes that matters. Old and new Airbus...
Current projects: Developing of new VA, CNC router and A320 flightdeck.

AndyT: Right now I am using a PVC white board I collected as scrap. I am thinking about coating it with some type of glossy paint to reduce it's refletion properties.

Goose: Many things have been said about FS Communicator in this and in other fellow forums. My personal opinion is that it is a great product, offering functionality to the A320 not even close to anything available today (maybe AST's future FBW module will be comparable). Furthermore, there is development ongoing that will enable several functions (glare & autobrake) to be hardware linked with any typical interface solution available (not only EPIC) via FSUIPC offsets, which is a great improvement. Regarding the FBW functions, it requires to spend some time learning how to configure them for your particular system, but it pays off. I was reluctant at the begining, but have to say I am quite happy now.

Glossy will make it more reflective. Did you mean flat? I was thinking a satin finish would be best.
    How big is the screen?

Sorry, I meant flat. The screen is small (about 60x60"). Any suggestion?
