I am planning to build a 737-800 cockpi for my sim. I have only studied and read about it for week, but thanx too people like you guys I have learned VERY much!

I am very very excited over getting started on my project and look forward to talking to you all!

I have a tendency to ask tooo many questions, so bear with me ok?
And since I have lived in Sweden for a long time my spelling can sometimes suck =)

I guess this could be very subjective. One must keep in mind that the majority of the posts here deal with ALL facets of building a home flight sim, and there is no restriction to discussing ALL brands of commercially available sim products. Understandbly so, it is not appropriate to discuss Engravity, GoFlight, Innovative Flight Sim Products, and a MULTITUDE of other brands of high quality products over at the FDS forum- it's meant for FDS parts only, with the exception of a few threads. There are some great open discussion topics over there that without any doubt, qualify the FDS forums as a gold mine.

What is so great about the MC.org forums is that there are several well-seasoned builders here who monitor the forum for almost 24 hours a day, and so you will rarely go more than a day or so without SOME answer to a question, unless it's totally weird or no one honestly knows where to steer you. That, along with a very generous array of forum options such as photos and file storeage, make MC.org the number 1 site I visit, next to my email account.

Welcome Liam, and Im glad you are learning so much so quickly!

At FDS forum I wouldn´t indorse any other companies products other than FDS´s products. Would be like having a pepsi in the snackroom at the coca cola company

But I can imagine that most builders do purchase materials and hardware from the different manufacturers? The compatition is what keeps the good products coming for us

    Thanx Tomlin!

    Thanx Matt!

Yes as soon as i get started i will post some pics once and a while

How ever I am a musician in a non signed band so my funding is...hmm well meager haha...

But I am getting my monster pc in about a month and that is step one.
i am unsure of what step 2 should be though? Maybe a MIP? or even the PM software?

    Liam
