    Wink Amsterdam greets the world

Hi, Im Mike and i have been simming since the early days of FS but as all simmers there is a day that we start building our own. So i have been building my 737 but before i finnished i trashed it.
Now im starting again. The question stays schould i buy a nose section and work with that or just make a nice MDF version.

Well that's why i joind this community to hope that some of you can help me build the new 737NG at my home with a little help in the process from you all. Afterall we are trying all to make a nice flightdeck.

Anyways if iyou fly online (IVAO) then the call sign is the correct one (KLM767) and if you are comming to the FSWeekend in the Netherlands end of this month come by our booth (KLM-VA)
For the rest letz build it,.....

Hi Mike and welcome to MyCockpit.org

I invite you to have a look at my website to see my very cost effective steel frame simulator. This is an easy way to do a 737!

Whoa, Nice setup, i will look in to the steel/Alum Frame. Its defently an idea.
One question to you all. I have the posibitly to use a UV Curing Flatbed printer (150cmx250cm) with 2400 DPI resolution to print on almost any surface as long its flat.
What i would like to do is print the different MIP pannels on a 6mm white(milk) acrylic board and backlite it.
Any ideas where i can get files to make this printfile or specs so that i can build the print file. (If i buld the file i will post it for everybody to use)
I'm also willing to share the source of the printer but i need to get the specs of the MIP. The other option is to buy the Engravity MIP but i would like to do it myself.
    Mike

Hey Mike ....welcome to the world of simming and a lot of days working at the SIM.

I'm from Kuala Lumpur , MALAYSIA and I have built my own B737NG sim and am still progressing on it ( as I said, it takes a lot of work and time and not to mention $$$$$$$. ( Euros for you)

I actually work for KLM here in KL and I frequently go up to Amsterdam for training or meetings. I have spent a lot of money at the Luchtvaart Hobby Shop or as it is now called the Aviation Megastore at Alsmeer.
    See link : http://www.aviationmegastore.com/

Most of my cockpit parts were purchased there. My most recent purchase was the B737 Landing Gear Lever. So, I had to take apart my sim slightly again to do the wiring of the gear levers and the lights and backlighting as well. Also bought the CP Expansion board so am also wiring up the throttles, autobrakes etc..etc.

I was planning to go for the Simulators Weekend in Nov but due to work requirements I can't go . Would love to be there though.

Good luck in your undertaking in building your cockpit and do post some pictures..

    Regards,

    Chris

Afraid not.......I'm still trying to get parts ....especially cockpit parts and switches etc. I 'm trying a friend of mine in Amsterdam that works in the stores of KLM and asking if there are u/s items that he could send to me so that I could try to salvage them
