... first post in a new forum- well it is almost the same feeling
one has after moving from town to town.

Well, my name is wolf-r. otto, generation 55+.
I am living in Hamburg/Germany and earn my living as as a senior
engineer at the Technical University.

After nearly four decades of electronic and software design I am still
feeling fine- as every crazy guy reports to the doctor

What to say- chasing for some information on cockpit- and aircraft
instrumentation I was lucky enough, to find this tremendous forum.

At the moment I am designing a quadrocopter flightcontrol. And not just
operating that little beast via traditional RC systems is enough- no, I want
to have a real groundstation. All the handy bells and whistles a pilot is
relying on should be available. Topped by a live on- board video.

So, the famous first words of a newcomer are spoken, back to work.

By the way, if some of you need assistance dealing with electronics, these
little black bugs, called microcontroller or anything which has more than
one wire, just give me a pm.
