Auto Throttle Control - Phidgets versus Open Cockpits?
Hi All -
I have just completed building my 737 TQ using the Simparts "kit".....that is, the mechanical assembly aspect of it....and now am ready to embark on the electronic interfacing. I had planned on using the OpenCockpits hardware but now I'm thinking about Phidgets.
I would be interested in knowing opinions pro and con specific to implementing the motorized lever functions. The hardware options appear to be similar (servo and relay cards etc.). The Phidgets interface appears to be more user friendly but OpenCockpit appears to have more flexibility from a programming standpoint (SIOC).
All thoughts, comments, and opinions would be much appreciated. Also, another recent thread here referenced Diego's DVATX software for Phidgets. Where can I find a download for it?
Thanks,
Fred
