Hi JL!

Coming back to my problem with Sound-Module (Post #352)......

After complete new installation of B28.4 the problem is still there -> no sounds.
But then I tried to start the Sound-Module on the server and this works. Conclusion is, the Sound-Module doesn't work when running on client. It connects from the client to server but does not play any sound, at least in my setup.

I would like to run the Sound-Module on a different PC to play these sounds on seperate speakers.

FYI: All 4 PCs I'm using have the same hardware config except the server, it has a more performant graphic card.

Is there an option for creating a fix in the flight plan. I.e. a VOR FIX at a given radial and distance? if so how to enter these? and what about VOR ARCs with a defined radius?

Hi Rob,

you can create PBD points (Place Bearing Distance). ex: AZR/250/15 creates a point in the 250º for 25Nm of AZR VOR.
You can also create a PB-PB point ex:AZR/350-CGS/040 creates a point at the intersction of the two VoR radials.

This works also with fixes and NDBs.

However, VOR arcs cannot be created by the pilots,as in the real aircraft. They are part of the navdata. I'm still working on navdata to get a better system, but this takes time.

I have downloaded the version 28.4 and there is missing the client WideFMGS.exe. Did you forget to implement in the Version 28.4

The WideFMGS client is installed on computer where the SERVER option is NOT selected during installation.

Hi JL

i have a problem with Ecam . When Pressing STS in normal situation will display the screen but when there is a fault pressing sts will flash the screen for a second and returns to the previous one. Using Fscockpit .
