    Hi All,

    the latest installation package: http://www.jeehell.org/A320FMGS_B31.4.exe
I had issues with Avast antivirus, it detected the AP.FBW.exe file as a virus. This is obviously a false positive, but take care while installing not to quarantaine it.

    I'll upload an autoupdate later.

    Regards,
    JL

Do you know if this said feature is rather new or have been implemented since a long time in real ACFT?
    Kind regards

    Hi

today in a routine flight I pressed and hold the autoland switch in flight and in ground, it flashes twice, Even the A 319 I flew is 2005 that feature was already implemented and as far as I know there are no changes

    hi Omniatlas

the TOGA mode does not arm the autothrust, ATHR is active from FLEX/MCT to IDLE so you need to move your levers to climb or mct to get ATHR active.

also can you please clarify when you mention " - prior to Vrotate managed mode is configured (speed, heading and altitude). I am in climb mode. " if you are in heading you should be in OPEN climb mode instead of climb mode. Managed modes are engaged when lateral navigation is complete and tehere are not discontinuities, or you have heading in green and Nav in blue.

Hi adomonismartinez -- it activates fine now -- it was a emulated joystick config problem For some reason I must not have been completely in TOGA/FLEX mode because of the joystick margin error.

Hi JL -- is it okay just to do an autoupdate if we have B31.3 or should we do a clean install (uninstall previous version then reinstall 31.4)?

I will be donating to the Australian Royal Flying Doctors; will you be okay if I donate under your name or your software "Jeehell Airbus Flight Management and Guidance System"?

Hey Jeehell, after updating to Version 31.4 there is no connection to the modules which are installed on networking pc. any idea why? Firewall are all off...
Only modules could connect which are on the server PC

    Hi Adonis,
thank you for answering my question! So fscockpit and cpflight (and probably most/all of the Airbus MSFS addon software developers) missed this feature.
I'll inform fscockpit about this issue so Tomasz may change the simple annunciator by a pushbutton.
    Regards
    René

    Hi,

@OmniAtlas: yes this is all fine for me, put the name you want
You should only have to do an autoupdate.

    @SimStar: how did you update?
Do you have wideFMGSserver and clients running?

    Regards,
    JL

    Re: A320 FMGS B31

    Hi everyone

Every now and then, I get the following message some seconds after engine start:
    F/CTL DIRECT LAW
    (PROT LOST)

    -MAN PITCH TRIM....USE

This behaviour I have since ever. So it has nothing to do with B31.4. Has anyone an idea how I can prevent this? Start-up of SW and checklist is always the same.

    Following is my configuration:
Main PC: FSX, FSUIPC (w/WideServer), FMGS server, AP/FBW, FSUIPC connect, FMGS_navdata, sound module, hardware connect (Joysticks, FCU CPFlight)
CPT PC: PFD, ND, CPT MCDU
EWD PC: E/WD, SD, STBY, WideClient FS, interfaceIT (overhead hardware)
FO PC: OVHD logic, FO MCDU
Note: I'm using interfaceIT for overhead hardware rather than the FMGS Hardware Connect so I can assign actions when switch is on and onother when switch is off. This saves me some number of inputs.

    cu, Adrian

    Re: A320 FMGS B31

    HI Adrian,

i got same behaviour from time to time. When message is active i reset all ELACs and FCTLs with switching off and on, then the message disappears. So one of the Flightcontrolcomputers failed . But how it comes to this message, i dont know, maybe too much delay, when internal logic switches from APU-power to gen-power? The last times i start with groundpower connected (I know not realistic, but for testing more comfortable), i didnt got this situation.

    Regards Henrik
