    Re: A320 FMGS B31

Thank you for the comprehensive post! Would you only arm approach after LOC (l-nav) has captured?

I have a new problem - plane bounces while trying to take off - I end up not picking up speed and end up crashing.

    The tanks are half filled.

Is this his an aircraft problem, a cg problem, a trim problem (I did not trim because I do not know where the indicators for the trim wheel are), or is it p3d 2.0?

There is a known bug in prepar3d where certain aircraft will bounce while moving. It will be fixed in their next patch.

OmniAtlas - There are no problems with the airplane in P3dV2. I use FMGS and tested P3Dv2.
You need to carefully configure FMGS to start. The network has many guides.
In P3Dv2 is a problem with weather programs. These programs put the TAT to 70 degrees C.

You can view the "TRIM" value is to SD screen - Flight controls (press G)

If you do not change the loading and you have 45% of the fuel (about 6.4 tons) take off TRIM should be around -1.6DN.

Loading and fuel are changed with topcat. Aircraft climbs at 120 knots even though I have the sidestick pushed forward. I have no control as it climbs and stalls. Did not have this problem at a different airport and a full fuel load.

I will experiment again. Airport is YSCH or coffs harbor.

    Hi

I fully agree that the instability problem might be related to trim position, in fact I'll suggest to reset all your configuration within flight simulator, maybe the trim up or down command has been activated inadvertedly causing the bouncingl

TAT at 70 C is be an insane thing !!! Only space shuttle can tolerate that!

Regarding to the LOC question , yes you can arm the approach as well, or you can try an ILS Alike approach.

    Regards

    Hi there,

if fuel is set to 4 tons and trim is left to the default settings and flaps 3, do you find the aircraft will try and lift at 120 knots? Is this also true with real world operations?

Does autotrim only engage with autopilot turned on?

i tried a fuel loaded at 100% and I do not get the early lift. Thank you.

I am am getting lots of crashes now to desktop (OOM) with p3d - not too sure if this is because I am using terrain data with a divide of 1 (most detailed) when I processed the dem files.

On another note, I still get a 'terrain terrain' warning when the aircraft is configured to land. Not too sure if this is a bug.

    Hi JL,

one question about AUTOLAND korry on glare wings: My understanding is that when I press the AUTOLAND korry, this is triggering a test of the LED output in the korry, which means that "AUTO LAND" will light up while pressing the korry. Am I right? And is your software supporting this behaviour?

    Thanks
    Stefan

I confirm that. At my CPFlight hardware, AUTOLAND doesn't light up when I press the korry too.

After last updates trim wheels don't turn according to degrees in SD F/CTRL page as they used to. In fact, they don't turn at all...

    Hi,

@OmniAtlas: OOMs should not be caused by my software, unless you really have very limited RAM? You can check the RAM usage in the task manager. The terrain alert are sometimes wrong, depends on the airfield you're flying into as well. What is the exact callout?

@Stefan: the AUTOLAND logic you describe is the correct one. It should be working in the software?? what hardware do you have?

@Leonidas: I checked, apparently CPFlight galrae wings do not send an input action when you push the AUTOLAND korry. I sent a request to Paolo from CPflight, waiting for his answer (maybe it's just a firmware update required).

    Regards,
    JL

Thanks for the confirmation. I am using Skalarki hardware, and I am already in contact with Marcin about this.

    Thanks
