    Parts Arrived from Revolution Simproducts.
MIP Center and left almost complete.
A Clear Matt Polyurethane Clear Coat for the finish.
This takes away the gloss, and adds some durability.

    Re: 737ng modular build

    February 2012

Got to the stage now where i can plug a few things in, to see how they shine.
Only problem is that FSX has become a little more addictive, and im not getting much building done!
Main MIP almost done, Clocks and Brake pressure guages arrived from flight illusion, and are now installed, i just cant work
out how to get the software working, for these, as they are not exactly "plug n Play".

WidevieW has also been installed on 3 Client computers. These 3 computers will eventually be running projectors.
I am now very happy with the performance of these scenery clients.

My next step is the lower display, CDUs, and lower MIP Panels. I will try and build this, in 2 halves. This will give me the option
to setup a full, or half size flight deck. At first it will be half size, just to keep me entertained with the little space,
i currently have. Then later on, piece together the full size deck.

Looking like a great project, thanks for the pictures. They say you should keep flying while building, don't let it distract you for achieving your ultimate goal though!

    Re: 737ng modular build

Another month rolls by and the simwheel keeps on turnin'

Work progressed with the CDU Bay.
Center LCD, and FDS CDU, accompany this module
A second CDU, added later, will complete this module.
7mm ply form the shell, along with a basic wooden frame.
The lower display surround is MDF, and clips onto the module with magnets.

With the arrival of the pedals, i can now begin work on the left and right lower sections.......

    See you next month!

    Re: 737ng modular build

    Hi Everyone,
This month was a busy one for me. With the arrival of the pedals from "Aerosim Solutions", the next logical step was to begin
work on the lower left and right panels. A frame was also built to support the end parts of the mip. Having the pedals with me made it easy to build these parts. I made sure there was adequate clearance for the pedals, and at the same time plenty of strength to support the upper sections. I also changed the CDU bay, giving it more realistic dimentions.
