Re: Cessna 172 Sim from Finland says Hi to everybody
Hello Vector
What a beautiful Cessna 172 sim you have created!!! Certainly a inspiring project for all of us. I also have a Cessna 172 I hope to convert into a simulator. We hope to fully restore the fuselage and use Simkits for the instruments as you have done so well. Once we start the project (if I could ever get out of our 727sim) I hope you can exchange ideas with us.
Your Beautiful work has set a new standard in Cessna 172 cockpit building worldwide.
Can you please explain to us and/or send us pictures on how you attached springs to your yokes pitch and role system for centering of the yokes?
The PROJECT 727 team congratulate you for creating such an exciting and beautiful sim and for sharing your work with the flightsim community worldwide!!!

Re: Cessna 172 Sim from Finland says Hi to everybody
We just got 3 new video projectors from Germany that are able to throw the picture from a very short distance and still the picture is huge.
Best news is that the projectors:

are basically plug and play and can be connected directly into Matrox Triplehead2go:
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/
By using SO7 picture morphing software you can blend the edges and modify the projector pictures very easily to fit into curved visual screen:
http://immersaview.com/sol7.html
Our temporary visual screen testing;
without SOL7:

with SOL7 demo version (edge blending is not in use so the edge brightness is still doubled)
http://www.lentosimulaattori.1g.fi/k...esting/016.JPG
the testing was made with our old projectors where you can see the problem that normal projector have to be very far away from the visual screen and still the image is too narrow. With our new projectors we can create big enough images that goes over the visual screen from very short distance (appr. 2meters) and then fit the picture into the visual screen with SOL7.
