Hi,
Thanks for the responses guys. I am using a single monitor and what I wanted to do was to have a bigger picture. I am also using FS9. My original thinking was something like the Triplehead2Go and three 21" screens with the Track IR, but that doesn't give me a bigger outside view.
Any other thoughts would be appreciated
Thanks
Rob

Um not sure what you mean there Rob? If you have 3x21" screens with a TH2GO you certainly will get a bigger outside view. The view will expand to 3072x768 (Matrox's widescreen option at 3x1024x768. In the VC you'll get most of the panel displayed in front of you while also looking at the sides of the runway etc left and right. Turn your head slightly with the TrackIR and you'll be looking at your tail fin in no time!

I'm very pleased with the TH2GO although the field of view isn't quite as large as I expected.
I had assumed I would get 3x45 degrees of view but at maximum zoom out (0.31) the field of view on each 4:3 screen is 29, 47, and 29 degrees for a total of 104 degrees edge to edge, i.e. 52 degrees to each side of the centre line. With zoom 1.0 the total field of view reduces to only 45 degrees edge to edge.
So the image on the outer two monitors is spread out compared with the image on the centre monitor - not at all the same as you would get with WideView displaying two independent 45 degree side views.

Hi,
I guess what I'm looking for is a view similar to one that is gained using a projector. The only problem is I don't have room to set up a projector and screen so I thought of going with a large monitor to increase the size of objects outside.
