Re: Your advise please
@ NAX
I have seen your setup at the FDS Forum. Thats more or less what I am planning to do. I will use one PC more I think. SO the main FSX PC and 5 Clients (P 4 3.2ghz 2GB RAM PCI E GPU with 512 mEGS of memory). Have you expierienced any problems with this kind of setup? Are you running on XP?
@Capetonian
Sorry , no I havent startet any physical build of the Pit. Im sorting out, calculating and buying things now and as soon I have the important things to start I will start with the podest which is including the linked yoke mechanism. It will take a loooong time to be finished....

Re: Your advise please
My FSX PC run WIN7 and all clients run XP Pro 32b.
As my setup is now everything works OK. Awaiting my new TQ next week (fingers crossed) and will set it up again then. Will change the protocol to run UDP instead of TCP. This will speed up reaction from i.e. executing on FMC to see actual changes on ND.
There is some work to be done in LNAV and VNAV sections and even more with logics i guess, but progress is being done continuously by the developer.

Sounds good. What kind of throttle are you getting? The Revolution Simproduct one? Are you using CPflight hardware or OC Stuff.
In my setup the FSX PC runns WIN7 Ult 64 and the rest will be XP pro 32 like yours. Seems we have ( or will have) a lot in common...

Re: Your advise please
Absolutely.Forgot the details on the FSX PC witch is indeed WIN7 Ult 64.
You're right on the TQ guess. It's the simrevolution one. Ordered in september, so I've been waiting some time to get this baby inhouse
I have MCP, EFIS and all radios from CPFlight. Will order a second EFIS from OC this week. Also have FMC from OC.
Overhead is from simworld.pl with buttons etc. from OC and interfacecards from simcockpitshop.de besides the OC master- and displaycards.
MIP and hardware in MIP is from Cockpitsonic so there is a good blend of hardware vendors in the setup.

Re: Your advise please
I also am impressed with the FDS software, and am especially impressed by the support. Sent a few questions to Jason, and he replied back to me with an hour!
Rather unusual these days to get this kind of support, and it's obvious that he loves what he does
