Re: A320 FMGS B34
Probably a question of rights. Try to do it with administrator rights.

Have you downloaded the sound files? You can find them at http://fmgs.co.nr/ under the resource section.

Re: A320 FMGS B34
Hi JH!
Just downloaded the new updates for B34. In SIOC_Creator I saw now you included the red arrow for the landing gear lever.
But the SIOC Compiler generating an error message due to a code mismach:
Var 554, name LDGredARR, Link IOCARD_OUT, Device 12, Input 75
IOCARD_OUT must have "Output" instead of "Input" value.
--> Var 554, name LDGredARR, Link IOCARD_OUT, Device 12, Output 75
It is already wrong in the input mask within SIOC_Creator where it asks for Input Number!
Next strange thing is that I'm entering 96 but this will be changed to 75 after pressing "Apply Configuration". Also in SIOC error log it shows 75!

Re: A320 FMGS B34
High winds around the sydney area today (>50 knots)
Had real trouble dropping my speed, and for some reason autopilot did not respond to manual mode.
Had to resort to turning of A/T to land the aircraft - anyone have this problem before?

Re: A320 FMGS B34
Good day Jeehell
Performed a standard flight some things to check:
As soon as plane is energized, EGT temp reads negative value, lowest value should be above 100 degrees
After landing , the mcdu page should be DATA .>> A/C STATUS
Due to several reasons, may it be performance mainly there are some things that can be aplicable to high alt airfields, such as terrain proximity and in the need to gain altitude in mountanuos areas high thrust reduction acceleration altitudes are required. In my particular test case, at SECU (airfiled alt 8340 ft ) high mountains at surroundings, the THR RED /ACC is 12500/12500 and ENG OUT ACC is 11000 , it is not posible to set a higher altitude than 1250 ft which results in lower altitude than the airfield, so climb mode never armed, only open climb when pulling fcu knob.
anyone has tested high altitude airfields and is facing a similar problem..?
Regards

Re: A320 FMGS B34
Hi -- thank you Adonis; it really makes it difficult to fly the aircraft without proper throttles (using the emulated software controls for now) with A/Thr disconnect.
When would be the right time to disconnect A/Thr at high wind speeds -- when you begin your descent phase/ flaps 1?
Thank you for your expertise.
Regards,
Ben

Re: A320 FMGS B34
PS -- anyone know if the LCD's on the real airbus is matt or glossy? http://www.tested.com/tech/238-gloss...isplay-debate/
Seems, the A380 is all glossy
