Re: My hybrid cockpit build
Attached are DXF files for the 23 numbered components that make up the shell framework.
Files marked "a" and "b" were beveled on the ends so I exported the front and back faces in order to expose this detail. You can use this to figure out the correct bevel for those parts.
You can open these files in DoubleCAD (free edition) and they can be printed on standard paper using a program called "tileprint".
The files were exported in Imperial units from their original Metric.
Many thanks to Ricardo for allowing me to do this!
I'll get the components for the base, center console, MIP and overhead done later this week.

Re: My hybrid cockpit build
I agree. He's done a fantastic job with the model. It's sized just right for folks that have limited space, but want to build a nice dual control cockpit.
I think the best feature is the fact that he designed the instrument panel for three 17" panels. There are _many_ 17" flat panels on eBay right now, many of which are under $50 each. If you decide to build this cockpit, you'll do yourself a service by trying to get three of the same make and model of panel.

Re: My hybrid cockpit build
Pulling some of the parts out of SketchUp is becoming problematic.
The shell components came out ok, but the center console and instrument panel is getting pretty ugly. How many people out there really want a set of DXF files? Is there anyone waiting on the work I'm doing?
