Using Sim Charts in FSX
Hi,
I have a set of Sim Chart discs which have very useful charts. I would like to be able to print them for use in approaches. I am using FSX now and understand these no longer work with this system but I dont want to bin this useful item.
Any ideas how I can print these to order please?
Regards

Is that a FS9 add-on? I've not heard of it. If so, why not install FS9 just to print off the charts?

Re: Using Sim Charts in FSX
I have now done just that and the client PC has FS9 thereon . I run this with a simple flight ( as Sim Charts is an add on ) and select the airport SID/ STAR from the 6,000 available on the database and then print . This is great as I now have all these charts at my fingertips. I then close FS9 and proceed to fly the plan. If I leave FS( running even in the background however it is picked up by the main PC and flags up FS9 is already running. Thats strange as its FSX ! Never mind it works for me. Thanks that was a good tip.

David
