737 Captain Seat Seatbelts
Dear builder fellows,
We're at 90% with building a cockpit seat.
To finish this project and make the seat complete we're looking for
a 5 point seat belt for the chair.
I have been looking arround and searched the web but no results sofar.
Any tips are welcome.
Best regards,
Bas van Leeuwen

Re: 737 Captain Seat Seatbelts
Hi Ian,
Wow, you have a fast reply! Thanks.
I'm looking to the possibilities to buy ready set of
second hand used seatbelts. I think it's hard to
make the central metal lock.
By the way your Wheel tiller concept works perfectly,
you made taxiing to a great fun!

Nick is a wonderful guy and all of their sales are for a non-profit organization.
I've talked to him many times during the building of my project, by way of phone, an amazing person, he has accomplished very much in his life. He's made quite a contribution to the Aviation World. I have great admiration for him.

Re: 737 Captain Seat Seatbelts
Matt,
Can you please PM me Nick's telephone number? Everytime I email, he never replys. I'd like to go visit him, but I need to speak with him first...
Thank you,
John

Re: 737 Captain Seat Seatbelts
Try taking a look at the seat belt locks fitted to childrens' car seats. Not exactly Boeing/Airbus standard , but they do use full harness fittings.

Re: 737 Captain Seat Seatbelts
Not figured it out exactly but my guess is that a rally/racing harness would do. In Holland you can look at the excellent guys of Biesheuvel Autosport:

B.t.w., Monday we plan to build 4 seats (2 for my sim and 2 for sale) but we don't have the exact measurements. Do you have any hints?Arjen
