B727 center part & MIP heigth measurements
Dear all,
does anyone have drawings & measures of B727 center part (I don't know the name, I mean the part, where the weather radar, sometimes the transpoder and ADF etc go) between the center panel (engines etc) and the throttle with three rows/bays for instruments...
I am looking for the height (front and back), the width and length and the shape.
Also, if anybody has measures, the height of themain instrument panel (from cockpit floor).
I think it might be a bit different from the 737 (especially the NG) as I think the 727 MIP is mounted90° vertically and not with a 15° angle like the NGs.
Thanks,
Florian

I think Nick from APHS is worth trying if you want exact measurements.
I just took measurements that suit's me best. But i think you want exact measurements.

Re: B727 center part & MIP heigth measurements
Florian
I fly for a company that operates 727's. I had a change to check out some measurements, and from the floor to the bottom of the MIP is 46 cm. Unfortunately I did not have with me all the measurements that you require so if you are patient I will have them in the near future. I say patient because of the 727 schedule, when I arrive from my flight the crews have left and the airplane is locked up and no access to it. So it will be at the next opportunity.
Just check this thread once in a while.
Cheers
Antonio
