Airbus Panels
Just out of curiosity I have seen some excellent Airbus A320 / 40 Panels.
I believe that the home builder sim market is dominated by many products aimed at the 737 type aircraft.
But where does this leave the Airbus builder, it appears that building the Airbus is not as popular as building the 737 and I for one would liek to know where you can purchase panels or molds for the Airbus MIP.
So far for the Airbus I have come up with:
Nova Panels
Flight Deck Solutions
Now that is all I can thinnk of in terms of the MIP for the Airbus....
Are there any more......for the airbus?GA or the Highway!

Re: Airbus Panels
dera alex there are
1 open cockpits have some panels
2 hispapanels has nearlly all panels for the 320
3 cockpit sonic in holland has a very big gama and very nice pepole i have spoken with them on tel
4 simparts.de has very inpresive panels on the 320 and graet aluminume strucher
because i am helping a frend buils a 320 finaly we decided to build the 320 because there are not many 340 panels nor softwere we did get pretty upset
because plug and play modules like cp flight and cockpitsonics are very pro panels but are very very expenciveit is sad that you can find so many plug and play 737 panels with 1000 euro you have a running cockpit in 15min
from open cockpits i realy wish thay had a plug and play airbus fcu ,efis at the price of the 737!!we were about to drop the airbus and go for 737 with open cockpits and pmdg softwere chep and very good but we stuck with it and still douing reserch on it jeehell has some freewere softwere very good and sound like i very nice guy so if you come up with any other airbus panels let us know too

Re: Airbus Panels
I have just designed from scratch the FCU for the airbus A320 (just for fun)...
Here is the prototype so far:
Its not completed yet as I need to adjust a few measurements for the key presses...
My design was just taken from photos of the FCU...
Measurements are pretty good, although not exact....
Cheers...

Re: Airbus Panels
If I was to build this, even that I wont, I guess it wouldn't be too hard to interface, its just a matter of adding encoders, switches, buttons and toggles and using a BU0836x, for the readouts, I would just use 2 HD44780 screens and connect it to an OC LCD card....
Getting software to interface it may be the tricky part!GA or the Highway!

CAD is awsom when you suss it out!
You are never bored...
So far I have designed many Boeing Radios, A full width Cessna MIP, GA Clock, GA Flaps decal, Airbus FCU....
One day I will put them on my website for everyone to use, if they think its good enough!GA or the Highway!

Re: Airbus Panels
Spiro...
Would you be able to tell me where to find CAD files for the FCU+EFIS so that I can compare them to my drawings and make adjustments....
In return I will offer you my drawings in file format, full sized!
Thank you.
