    Need help please?

    Ive been going through drawings for the 747 400 flight deck and Ive stumbled on somthing that to me does not seem right.
    I was looking at the distance between the top of the glareshield and the bottom of where the centre window beam finishes, (top of G-shieldto bottom of compass) The drawings say it is 7 /16". That just seems too low to me, I looked at some pictures of the real thing and they seem higher.
    Maybe its just how it looks.

    I got news for you.. thats about right..

    On the 737, it is about the same.. 7" 1/16 would be about the right space to view through.
